This dramatic work in one movement is a musical definition of the Greek word adronos which connotes the act of “raising up” or “the way up”. The construction of Adronos is a basic form of ABA with some variants within each section. The main body of the work is proceeded by a long introduction which generates some of the material to be developed later on.
